After a remodeling period of more than a year, VÖLKEL and its cooperation partner Radio Hamburg opened the 21. and 22 October, the completion of the modernization of the Nedderfeld Center was celebrated with a big party.
The Nedderfeld Center in Hamburg-Eppendorf, which opened in 1989, has a sales area of around 18,000 square meters and was repositioned in the course of the renovation.
In addition to a new copper-colored exterior façade visible from afar, a new logo and redesigned outdoor facilities, parking traffic was also optimized and additional bicycle racks were integrated for customers. The parking garage with its approx. 500 parking spaces has become brighter and friendlier and has a new ticket and barrier system.
Inside, an energy-saving lighting concept, contemporary seating areas, informative digital signage systems, inviting catering areas and new sanitary facilities ensure an appealing quality of stay and a modern ambience.
VÖLKEL Real Estate GmbH, which has provided comprehensive full-service management for the property since April 2019, has attracted various new tenants to the Nedderfeld Center in addition to the existing anchor tenants Kaufland and Media-Markt: the fitness studio “Sports Club Eppendorf” and the pet food specialist “Fressnapf” have moved into the Nedderfeld Center, which covers over 3,000 sqm. Other service providers and restaurateurs have also expanded the sector mix. Further new openings will follow in the coming months.
