TK Maxx moves into “das Schloss” in Berlin-Steglitz – next coup for strategic development

Thanks to successful cooperation between VÖLKEL Real Estate, Deka Immobilien and CBRE, TK Maxx has been acquired as another strong and forward-looking tenant for “das Schloss”.

Thanks to the close cooperation between VÖLKEL, Deka Immobilien and CBRE, the off-price company TK Maxx has been successfully acquired for the inner-city shopping center “das Schloss”. TK Maxx will occupy an area of more than 2,000 square meters over two floors in “das Schloss”. TK Maxx is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2025.

Further restructuring will take place as part of this successful letting. For example, Thalia will reposition itself on the first floor at the beginning of 2025 on approx. 1,350 sqm in order to create contiguous space for TK Maxx on the upper floor.

The shopping center “das Schloss” is characterized by its special architecture and the pleasant feel-good atmosphere in the mall. With over 80 stores spread over three floors, it offers a varied shopping experience and attracts visitors from all over the region and city. These latest developments strengthen the center’s position as a popular shopping destination in Berlin-Steglitz and the surrounding area.
