With Calzedonia and Intimissimi, VÖLKEL welcomes two strong new brands to the inner-city shopping center Neue Mitte Fürth.
The two brands belong to the Italian Calzedonia Group, which has around 200 stores in Germany. While the Calzedonia brand specializes in legwear and beachwear for women, men and children, Intimissimi stands for glamorous Italian-style lingerie. The two brands share a rental space of around 200 square meters.
With around 134,000 inhabitants, Fürth is the second largest city in Middle Franconia. Together with Nuremberg, Erlangen and Bayreuth, the city forms the Nuremberg metropolitan region with around 3.5 million inhabitants.
The Neue Mitte Fürth shopping center is located in the pedestrian zone in the heart of Fürth, just a few hundred meters from the main train station. It was opened in 2015 with a total rental space of around 18,000 sqm. Calzedonia complements the strong line-up with TK Maxx, C&A, New Yorker, Snipes, Depot, Esprit, Hugendubel, Rewe and dm, among others. The retail units on the upper floors are complemented by offices, surgeries and a sports studio. Another highlight is the light-flooded city library on the top floor, which offers visitors a panoramic view over Fürth from the terrace of the library café.
Since 2018, VÖLKEL Real Estate has been managing Neue Mitte Fürth in the areas of center and district management, marketing/public relations, leasing and tenant care.
