MediaMarkt-City Osnabrück and the Kamp-Promenade Osnabrück celebrate the completion of extensive renovation work. At the end of last year, VÖLKEL successfully extended the lease agreement between Media-Saturn and Deka-Immobilien on a long-term basis.
With the conclusion of the contract extension, Media-Saturn has decided to convert the previous Saturn store to the current MediaMarkt concept.
After 4 weeks of renovation and expansion work in technology and store fitting, the store and Kamp-Promenade celebrated with special events. “It is a great pleasure for us to be able to open this state-of-the-art store in our shopping district together with the Managing Director, Matthias Komp,” said Center Manager Bernard Banning as he presented a bouquet of flowers, naturally in the colors of the MediaMarkt logo.
In addition to rodeo riding and countless demonstrations of the latest technology trends in all departments, the “Flashday” by tattoo studio Vacuo from Osnabrück was a highlight of the opening ceremony. Even before the store on Kamp-Promenade opened, long queues formed in front of MediaMarkt.
VÖLKEL Real Estate GmbH has been managing the Kamp-Promenade in Osnabrück on a full-service basis since 2017. VÖLKEL Real Estate GmbH has been commissioned with the center management and re-letting of Kamp-Promenade and has been working for the investor Deka Immobilien and its real estate funds for several years and now manages several of the investor’s shopping centers and retail parks.
