HAMBORNER REIT AG and VÖLKEL Real Estate have secured Woolworth as a new tenant for the former Adler space in the Kurpfalz Center in Mannheim. Following the opening of Globus in May 2022, a further improvement in the sector and tenant mix for the center was achieved. The new tenant is scheduled to open on April 27, 2023.
The Kurpfalz Center in Mannheim offers customers in the wide catchment area a wide range of specialist retail and gastronomy products from food and drugstore articles, textiles and shoes, toys, golf articles, pet food to cosmetic services and gastronomy on a total area of over 28,000 m².
The Kurpfalz Center’s strong retail presence is complemented by its own petrol station and car wash as well as the DIY stores and furniture stores in the immediate vicinity.
With its location on the A 6 and A 659 highways and the B 38 federal highway, the center has optimal supra-regional transport connections.
Around 2,000 parking spaces are available to customers free of charge. The center is also easily accessible by public transport via two bus lines.
Since 2020, VÖLKEL Real Estate has been responsible for the center management and reletting of the Kurpfalz Center. The VÖLKEL Group was founded in Hamburg in 2004 and, in addition to operational property management, offers a wide range of other services relating to the life cycle of a property. She has been working for HAMBORNER REIT AG for many years and now manages several of the investor’s retail parks.
