From mid-September, customers can expect a competent and contemporary DIY store at the location
The close cooperation between VÖLKEL, Deka Immobilien and CBRE has succeeded in securing TOOM as a further attractive tenant for the long term, which will strengthen the Kinzigbogen Hanau retail park and perfectly complement the sector mix.
After an extensive conversion and adaptation to the new concept of the strong DIY chain, toom is scheduled to open in September 2025. The conversion includes both the new interior with shelving systems and products as well as the conversion to future-oriented technologies in order to ensure that resources are used as sparingly as possible.
Kozeta Balla, center manager of VÖLKEL Real Estate: “Not only we as center management, but all tenants in the Kinzigbogen are looking forward to the new tenant toom, as this strong DIY store concept will have a positive impact on our entire center.
We are already looking forward to the opening in September this year and will accompany the opening with our own center marketing measures. Our customers are in for a surprise.”
Kinzigbogen, one of the largest retail parks in the Hanau and Main-Kinzig region, is located on the former Hanau-Nord rail yard. Kinzigbogen opened its doors to customers for the first time in 2012 on Luise-Kiesselbach-Straße. Its central location offers visitors excellent accessibility. The retail park is equally well connected to Hanau city center and – via the A66 – to the regional freeway network. Public transport users can easily reach the Kinzigbogen every day on bus route 12.
The retail park offers an excellent tenant mix and allows customers to do all their shopping centrally and without parking fees. REWE and Lidl are represented, as are Möbel Roller and an Expert electronics store. For pet lovers, there is a Fressnapf on site, as well as a dm drugstore and other competent suppliers, so the Kinzigbogen meets all the requirements for shopping with short distances.
